Call for Artists:
Rotating Downtown Naperville Mural Opportunity
In late Summer of 2026, ArtForum: The Naperville Partnership for Public Arts will once again be reviewing proposals for the vertical mural installation (13' wide x 23' tall) on the highly visible downtown Naperville wall space located on the north side of the Liam Brex building (220 South Main Street).
All artists and artist teams are encouraged to apply. We welcome a range of styles and concepts—murals should spark connection, reflect diversity, and engage viewers in meaningful ways.
Art installation funding will be sourced by ArtForum through a potential combination of public and private sources.
Art Details
The artwork should be created (painted, drawn, or digitally designed) at 1:10 scale (15.6" wide x 27.6" tall). It should first be submitted as a low-resolution JPG or PNG for review. If selected, the final piece will need to be scanned at 720dpi and saved as a TIF file. It will then be professionally printed at 23’ x 13’.
Deadline to Apply: August 1, 2026
Installation Period: Early Fall, 2026
Display Duration: 12 months
Location: Downtown Naperville (220 South Main Street)
Please submit your interest, a brief description of the intended work, and a rough mural sketch using the submission form on this page. If you should have any questions, please email: shannon@artforumnaperville.org or sgr@arranmoreevents.com
