LOTUS IS an immersive installation of towering, luminous blossoms inspired by the flower’s symbolism of resilience and renewal. Illuminating gently above the waters of the paddleboat quary in downtown Naperville, each translucent form radiates light and calm, transforming the landscape into a place of quiet wonder and reflection. Visitors are invited to pause, reflect, and reconnect with both nature and one another.

The objective of the Revolving Mural is to create a known focal point that draws visitors in, and citizens together. The mural will change annually, thereby creating anticipation, interest, and continued creative relevance in and for the community at large. A Call for Entries will be done mid-year and the artwork selected based on the following criteria:

Installation Alley is designed to create an immersive art experience in the heart of downtown Naperville, inviting residents and visitors to connect with their surroundings in a new way. The project will also establish the infrastructure needed for future installations, allowing rotating pieces to be presented more cost-effectively and with minimal disruption.
