Art Project Planning and Development
Plan, develop, and oversee the installation of public art that enhances community spaces, celebrates local culture and promotes creativity. Ensure these installations are well-maintained to uphold artistic integrity, safety, and public engagement. Work closely with artists, community organizations, and city departments to bring dynamic and inclusive art experiences to the community, fostering a lasting cultural impact.
Community Engagement and Cultural Development
Foster active community involvement and cultural growth through programs, events, and initiatives that celebrate diversity and bring people together. Encourage participation from residents, local organizations, and businesses to create a vibrant cultural landscape. Support the growth of creative expression, educational opportunities, and public art projects that reflect the community’s unique identity, values, and history, building a strong sense of connection and inclusivity.
Sustainable Funding Through Partnerships
Leverage private investments and public grants to strategically fund public art projects, reducing taxpayer burden while maximizing the reach and impact of these initiatives. By partnering with private donors, corporations, foundations, and securing grants from local, state, and federal arts programs, establish sustainable funding streams. This model broadens the reach of public art, making it more accessible and impactful, and reinforces community support and ownership by reflecting a shared commitment to cultural enrichment.
Express Yourself.
ArtForum embraces all visual and self-expressive mediums. Whether it be sculpture, performance, murals, digital new media, festivals, placemaking, installations, or interactive exhibits, ArtForum will explore commissioning both permanent installations and temporary exhibitions.
